From the first steps in our banana operation in 1996 we have imported the fertilizers from Russia in order to supply our own growing facilities and also plantations for our basic growers. Step by step we have enlarged fertilizers business selling the goods to other banana producing companies and also to companies of different agricultural profiles as sugar-cane, rice and others. It was the moment to constitute FERTIPALMA company in order to assure that developing business. Nowadays the company owns several fertilizers terminals, packing facilities, special platform transport, loading and unloading equipment etc.
The intention of FERTIPALMA is not only to improve the quality of our production and our soil but also to offer the assistance at the lowest possible prices to our associate producers. Our experience as producers and sellers of Ecuadorian banana has taught us that the quality service directly influences the quality of fruit we wish to obtain.
